At The Top

A major attraction in Dubai is its architectural crowning jewel, Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest skyscraper. This imposing edifice has two observation decks: At The Top and At The Top Sky. At The Top is located on 124th floor while At The Top Sky is on 148th floor. For a time, At The Top was the highest outdoor observation deck only to be surpassed by Sky a few years later.

Some Do’s and Don’ts in Dubai
  • Obey all UAE rules, including traffic regulations. Don’t cross that street without seeing the green light unless you’re willing to pay Dh400. No beating the red light or violating road rules or you’ll be fined. 
  • Dress modestly, especially when in public places. This means no cross-dressing. No nudity in beaches. Swimwear is only allowed in hotels, private pools and beaches.
  • Be respectful at all times.
  • Avoid making hand gestures that may be considered offensive.
  • Never drink in public places.
  • Always respect women’s rights, especially when taking the Metro where there’s a dedicated space for women and children.
  • Never forget to pay for something you took at a store or supermarket.
